About Lucy Splichal, EA, CRTC
I founded Colossa Tax Group after going through my own financial storm — one that almost cost me everything.
As a long-time business owner, I’ve spent over 15 years running successful companies, including more than a decade in ecommerce and product-based businesses. I understand the ins and outs of accounting and business taxes — from payroll to sales tax — and the pressure of holding it all together, particularly in California.
But when I became widowed — losing my life and business partner, Jesse — everything changed. Overnight, I faced the kind of catastrophic event that can threaten to destroy even the strongest business. I came close to losing it all, and worked hard to rebuild and stabilize after devastation.
That experience is what ultimately led me to tax resolution — and to the belief that no one should have to face a difficult financial situation alone, especially when it comes to the IRS or state taxing agencies.
I’m a federally licensed Enrolled Agent, a Certified Tax Representation Consultant (CTRC), and a California CTEC-registered tax preparer. I’m also a member of the Tax Rep Network, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
But more importantly, I’m someone who understands how unexpected events and aggressive tax agencies can put everything you’ve worked for at risk. I believe that even in the toughest financial situations, there’s a way forward — and my job is to help you find it.
